FULL BIO
Coby Getzug is an LA native who began his career on Broadway in 2009 in the acclaimed revival of Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs." He most recently understudied Daniel Radcliffe as Charley in the Tony-winning revival of "Merrily We Roll Along," and will be featured in the upcoming filmed version from Sony Pictures Classics. Other Broadway credits include Richard Dreyfuss/Roy Scheider in "The Shark is Broken" and Elder Cunningham in "The Book of Mormon." On tour, Coby starred as Moritz in "Spring Awakening," Papi in "The Band's Visit", and Elder Cunningham in "The Book of Mormon." In LA, he has appeared at the Mark Taper Forum, the Kirk Douglas Theatre, and the Broad Stage. Other television and film credits include "The Deuce" on HBO, "God Friended Me" on CBS, and "Encore!" on Disney+. He's a proud graduate of UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television and the LA County High School for the Arts.
