Tony Award–nominee Lilli Cooper has been a mainstay on Broadway since she was a teenager. She originated the role of Julie Nichols in Tootsie, earning a Tony nomination for her performance, and created the roles of Sandy Cheeks in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical, Dee Dee Sykes in The Cottage, Chris in POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, and Martha Bessell in the original production of Spring Awakening. She also thrilled audiences as Elphaba in the blockbuster musical Wicked. Lilli’s stage career extends well beyond Broadway. She has delivered acclaimed performances in Oliver!, Titanic, and Mack & Mabel for City Center Encores!, the stirring revival of Tick, Tick… Boom! with Keen Company, and downtown favorites including Sundown, Yellow Moon (WP Theater), The Wildness (Ars Nova), Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 (A.R.T.), and The Threepenny Opera (Atlantic Theater Company). She is currently starring Off-Broadway as Rona Lisa Peretti in the eagerly anticipated revival of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. On screen, Lilli has appeared in No One Cares (directed by Jesse Eisenberg), Sheepdog, and Steven Spielberg’s The Post, and is featured in the HBO documentary Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known. Her television credits include Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, Hazbin Hotel, NCIS: New Orleans, Dynasty, Bull, Instinct, Elementary, The Code, and The Good Fight.
