Kristolyn Lloyd

Kristolyn Lloyd is a Grammy and Emmy Award–winning actor, singer, director, and writer. She originated the role of Alana Beck in Dear Evan Hansen, playing it first Off-Broadway at Second Stage Theater and then on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre, where she made her Broadway debut with the original company. She is featured on the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording, which won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. She returned to Broadway as John Adams in Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of 1776. Her Off-Broadway and New York credits include Sally & Tom and Hamlet (The Public Theater); Confederates, Paradise Blue, and The Liquid Plain (Signature Theatre); Blue Ridge (Atlantic Theater Company); Invisible Thread (Second Stage); Little Women (Primary Stages); Cabin in the Sky (Encores! at New York City Center); and Heather Duke in Heathers: The Musical at New World Stages — a role she originated in the show's Los Angeles premiere at the Hudson Theatre. Regional credits include American Prophet (Arena Stage), Paradise Blue (Williamstown Theatre Festival), and Witness Uganda (A.R.T.). On screen, Kristolyn's credits include Random Acts of Flyness (HBO), Blue Bloods, Chicago Med, Elementary, Madam Secretary, and Kevin Can Wait (CBS), Lie to Me (FOX), and ER (NBC). She is also a director and writer, with directing credits including Dainty at Mosaic Theater and Nick and the Prizefighter. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.
